There has been a debate on Twitter about which fast food place has the best-fried chicken, Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A. But… I personally think that the restaurant with the best-fried chicken is Jollibee. Although the debate is specifically about the chicken sandwich, I want to talk about the main part…, fried chicken.

Jollibee is a fast-food restaurant originated from the Philippines that sells fried chicken and other Filipino dishes. Their fried chicken is one of the best I’ve tried! The meat on the inside is super juicy and the breading is crunchy but soft at the same time. They even give you gravy to go with your meal. Overall, the fried chicken has just the right amount of salt and just the right amount of flavor to make it one of the best-fried chicken in the world. Jollibee may not have a famous chicken sandwich yet but all meals usually come with rice which replaces the bread of the sandwich. The restaurant also has other things on the menu to go with your chicken. They have palabok, spaghetti, and other typical Filipino dishes that are delicious and really compliments the chicken.

Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A both have very good fried chicken and I do find myself eating Chic-Fil-A more often than Jollibee because it’s quicker and closer to where I live. Though, my love for Jollibee’s fried chicken and all the other foods that they have is too strong to beat with other fried chickens. Whenever I eat their chicken, I always get excited and I feel satisfied after eating it. There may not be that many Jollibee restaurants in America yet, but they are growing and more Jollibees are starting to show up. If you see a Jollibee near you, I highly suggest going and trying their chicken and other delicious foods.
