It’s a new school year! I originally made this blog to talk about food while trying to incorporate it into my assignments for English. I enjoyed doing it last year and I’m excited to continue it this year. Now let’s talk about food. During the summer I went to this new udon place at South Coast Plaza, in Costa Mesa, called Marugame Udon. The restaurant was very similar to the udon place in Hawaii which I discussed in my first post. I had to wait in line for about an hour and a half but it was worth it. I got the curry udon along with some fish cake tempura and a salmon onigiri. The noodles were soft but chewy, and the curry sauce with beef was mouthwatering and savory. Overall, my experience was amazing and I will definitely go back. If you plan on going, I suggest you get there really early before it opens or go late in the afternoon on weekdays. The line might be long but, trust me, you won’t regret it.
